Parent involvement is an essential part of STRIDE Learning Center's program. As partners with parents, we share a joint responsibility for providing a growing, stimulating, and supportive environment for each child. Parents are welcome visitors in the Center at all times. Staff and parents are expected to share ideas for promoting healthy development and learning as well as child management techniques. Verbal or written communication regarding concerns or special events is encouraged.

Parent involvement activities are encouraged and may include:

bullethelping your child attend school regularly
bulletvolunteering or observing in the classroom (one hour per month is encouraged)
bullethelping with field trips or parties
bulletattending parent/teacher conferences
bullettaking an interest in what your child says or brings home
bulletcompleting parent surveys
bullethelping with fundraising activities

A newsletter and important classroom notes are sent home periodically. Please be sure to read these!

Parents have a right to all inspection reports for STRIDE Learning Center, information on complaint and compliance history of providers from the Department of Family Services and documentation of provider/director training.
